Pastor Aaron Johnson

Pastor Aaron was born in Spokane, Washington, and grew up in Hermiston, Oregon, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior during high school. His faith has been shaped through a life of service—in the military, in education, and in his community—where he has led Bible studies, mentored others, and had the privilege of preaching his first sermon while deployed with the Oregon Army National Guard.

After earning a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Theology from Liberty University, Pastor Aaron has devoted himself to helping people grow in their relationship with God. He has a deep passion for God’s Word and is committed to teaching it faithfully, guiding and encouraging others to live out their faith in meaningful ways at home, at work, and in their communities. He currently serves full-time as a JROTC instructor at Hermiston High School, where he mentors and develops young leaders.

Pastor Aaron and his wife, Sarah, live in Umatilla, Oregon, with their daughter, Adelynn, and their two dogs, Bella and Mango. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve both his congregation and the wider community, striving to lead with faith, humility, and a heart for God’s people.
